Harcourts Liverpool

The project at Harcourts Liverpool was for two specialist road crossings as part of a larger District heating project.

The Great Howard Street crossing was pipejacked at 5.5m deep underneath the carriageway by our specialist contractor.  The Works involved the excavation of launch and reception pits either side of Great Howard Street and required an insertion trench to be excavated 14m long by 3.6m wide and 5.5m deep to facilitate the pipe installation.

Excalons civils team supported Vital Energi in the pipework installation underneath the carriageway and completed the backfill of the excavations

The second road crossing was undertaken by Excalons in house civils teams across Regent Road.  The Works where in recently renovated carriageway and required the removal for future reinstatement of specialist stonework reinstatement.

The Works required the utilisation of a specialist contractor to support the existing walls to the Tobacco Warehouse and the dock side walls.  Excalon engaged with sontractors to complete the pipework windows underneath the walls and installed the requires pipework.

Excalons in house traffic management department set up and managed the road closure for the Regent Road Crossing.
